We’re Hiring: Chief Program Officer
M.A.R.E. Riding Center is seeking a Chief Program Officer (CPO) to lead our equine-assisted services and participant programming. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for developing, managing, and elevating the experience of our participants, families, volunteers, and staff.
The right candidate will be a strong communicator, a strategic thinker, and a compassionate leader with deep experience in equine-assisted activities and a heart for people with disabilities.
Core Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of lesson programming and participant services

Mentor and support instructors and volunteers

Collaborate with executive leadership on future planning and program growth

Ensure quality, safety, and alignment with PATH Intl. standards

Lead ongoing education and community outreach

Partner in horse care planning and facility collaboration
Who You Are:
-
A PATH Intl. certified instructor with 2 years min of Equine Assisted Services experience
-
Calm under pressure, confident around horses, and passionate about people
-
Experienced in equine teaching, training, and program leadership

Able to build strong connections with staff, families, and the community
-
Organized, strategic, and enthusiastic about creating impact
This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits. Weekend availability and occasional travel required.
